Candle screen created for the Nolitex Millennium exhibition at Southwell Minster. Free machine embroidery (pfaff 7570) from a design created on computer based on the "angel window" at the Minster, embedded in Friendly Plastic. The whole is laminated to fabric. 35cm x 27cm approx
RockPools
Three sided bag made with heat distorted transfer printed fabric and Friendly Plastic which has been cut out with metal cutters and a soldering iron. Free machined on a Pfaff 7570.
Tassel
Broderie lace effect using Friendly Plastic over an old film canister. Tassel skirt is a mixture of threads obtained from car boot sales.

Bramble Thicket
A flat plate of Friendly Plastic lace work was created first, then placed between layers of cold water soluble stabiliser and hand and machine stitched (Pfaff 7570). Beads were added, the stabiliser washed away and the whole softened again and reshaped into a dish.
Carnival Mask
Created over a sprayed paper mache mask form.
